We’re halfway through the summer, and many of us haven’t achieved our perfect tan yet. In this article, I’ll explain how to use Biaxol’s Melanotan II spray to get a perfect tan this summer.
What is Melanotan II?
Melanotan II, also known as the “Barbie drug,” is a synthetic analogue of the peptide hormone α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) that stimulates melanogenesis.
Simply put, it is an analogue of the hormone that helps us tan.
How to Use It
I personally will use it in the following way:
- Initial Use:
– Start with one spray per day for the first two days before going to bed to test my tolerance and avoid possible nausea.
- Increased Dosage:
– If I tolerate the compound well, I will increase to two sprays per day before going to bed. This would be the maximum dose I would use.
- Sun Exposure:
– Following this protocol, I will expose myself to direct sunlight for 20 minutes a day during the first two days. If my skin does not become too red, I will gradually increase up to a maximum of 40 minutes of direct sunlight per day.
- Sun Protection:
– It is very important to use maximum protection sunscreen and avoid using any type of tanning lotion. It is also crucial to use after-sun care.
Using this protocol, one could achieve the desired tan in about 2-3 weeks (this obviously varies depending on the person and their genetics; I personally achieve the desired results in 12 days).
Important Considerations
Melanotan II has a half-life of about 33 hours, so the dose accumulates. It is important to be cautious with high doses or excessive sun exposure.
